Pet Policy

We know that pets are part of the family! To help ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable community for everyone, please review and follow the pet policies below.

Pet Registration

• All pets must be approved by management before being brought onto the property.
• A completed Pet Addendum must be signed prior to move-in or before acquiring a pet during your tenancy.
• Management reserves the right to approve or deny pets in accordance with community policies and applicable laws.

Pet Fees

• One-Time Pet Fee: $350 per pet
• Monthly Pet Rent: $25 per pet

(Fees do not apply to approved service animals or assistance animals as required by applicable law.)

Pet Rules

• Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside your apartment unless inside the designated dog park.
• Residents must immediately clean up after their pets and properly dispose of pet waste.
• Pets may not be left unattended on patios, balconies, or outside the apartment.
• Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or other nuisance behavior is not permitted.
• Pets must not damage landscaping, buildings, or another resident's property.
• Residents are responsible for any damage caused by their pets, including damage inside the apartment or to common areas.

Pet Waste

Please help keep our community clean by:

• Picking up after your pet immediately.
• Using designated pet waste stations whenever possible.
• Properly disposing of waste in the provided receptacles.

Failure to clean up after your pet may result in lease violations and applicable charges.

Restricted Animals

Management reserves the right to restrict certain animals as permitted by the lease and applicable law. Please contact the leasing office for current pet guidelines before applying or bringing a pet onto the property.

Service Animals & Assistance Animals

Westwood Park Apartments complies with all applicable fair housing laws regarding service animals and assistance animals. Residents requesting a reasonable accommodation should contact the leasing office. Approved service animals and assistance animals are not considered pets and are not subject to pet fees or pet rent.

Resident Responsibility

Residents are financially responsible for:

• Damage caused by their pets.
• Additional cleaning or odor remediation beyond normal wear and tear.
• Injury or property damage caused by their pets.
